The U.S. and its Government

     Today I am going to talk about the U.S government and how it's changed. To start out lets think back to 1776. In that time the Pilgrims had been living happily in their new land but still had to pay taxes to the British government. So they decided to write a declaration and revolt. Most of you know that this (declaration) was called the Declaration of Independence. In it, it says:  When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.


     In this point of history it seems perfect and happy. But you will find that later on in American history things are:  imperfect, dishonest, terrible, and unhappy. Now lets think back to the revolution. A great general named George Washington became president after the revolution's success. After that things went well until 1861. At that time Abraham Lincon was president. Also it is important to know that, ignoring the Declaration of Independence, U.S. citizens still owned slaves. They were ignoring the Declaration of Independence because in the Decleration of independance it specifically says that humans are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Hello! Slaves didn't have liberty! This started a civil war. Wait a minute, a civil war! How could that have happend with their (great) plans! But this is just the beginning.

    Next lets go to the First World War.  At that time the U.S. was the most powerful country in the world. Meanwhile, the world was destroying itself and what did the U.S do?  Nothing!  Finaly the Germans sunk an innocent U.S ship, so the U.S declared war on Germany. Of course they won very quickly.  I mean they were the strongest country in the world. 

     After that the U.S people were lazy and brainless. They wasted all of their money on stocks which usually got them more money. But eventually the stock market crashed and every no-brained citizen lost all their money. And once again, what did the U.S government do?  Nothing! I mean every now and then they might lower prices or something but nothing that had a chance to help at all. Today the U.S government is : lazy, arrogant, selfish, and completely dishonest.  Plus they still do nothing about emergencies.
